Janice B. Schmidgall

Janice B. Schmidgall, 77, of Mackinaw, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Hopedale Hospital. 

She was born July 1, 1944 in Mackinaw to Gerald and Dorothy Aldridge Rollings.  She married Cecil L. Schmidgall, and he passed away February 6, 2017. 

Surviving are two children, Randy Schmidgall of Mackinaw and Rodney (Tami) Schmidgall of Bloomington; seven grandchildren, Isaac, Mariah, Ethan, Laura, Owen, Clairessa, and Allison; six great grandchildren, Lilly, Dakoda, Maverick, Parker, Maci, and Emelia; one brother, Robert Rollings of Gridley; one sister, Patty (Mike) McLaughlin of Mackinaw. 

She was preceded in death  by her parents; and two brothers, Gerald D. Rollings and Charley D. Rollings. 

Janice was a homemaker and worked at Gils Country Inn in Minier for many years. 

Her funeral will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February12, 2022 at Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw.  Pastor Jason Siebert will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday also at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mackinaw Township Cemetery in Mackinaw.
