Linda K. Horton

Linda K. Horton, 74, of Tremont, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2022 at her home.  

She was born July 10, 1947 in Peoria to Donald W. and Marjorie Parkhurst Barnard.  She married Stuart “Stu” Horton on January 28, 1967 in Tremont, and he survives. 

Also surviving are one daughter, Sarah J. Horton of Peoria; one granddaughter, Allayna Bratton of Tremont; one great grandson, Ethan Mason of Tremont; siblings, Michael Barnard, Robert (Cathy) Barnard, and Becky (Dave) Freeman, all of Tremont. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Linda drove a school bus for Tremont Community District 702 for 23 years. 

She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, sewing, reading, and flowers. 

Linda a faithful member of Northfield Christian Fellowship in Tremont, where her funeral will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Brian Hepp will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, also at the church.  Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Tremont.
