Tracy Ann Simpson

Tracy Ann Simpson, 58, of McLean, Illinois, passed away at 9:20 P.M. February 14, 2022, at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.

Her visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 21, 2022, at the Heyworth Christian Church, Heyworth, Illinois, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 P.M. with Tony Billingsley and Candi Evans officiating. Burial will follow at McLean Cemetery, McLean, Illinois, with Military Rites accorded. Memorials may made to the McLean Christian Church, Heyworth Christian Church or Michael Simpson. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home of Heyworth, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Tracy was born July 1, 1963, in Hopedale, Illinois, a daughter of Charles and Wilma Bratcher Owen. She married Michael L. Simpson on November 6, 1993, at the Heyworth Christian Church, Heyworth, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Simpson of McLean, Illinois; her children, Ashley (Josh Stroud) Gaither of Bloomington, Illinois; Levi (Mary Ann) Blair of Metamora, Illinois; and Michelle (Nick) Morrow of Beason, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Austin; Kelsey; Connor; Braelynn; Levi Jr.; Mack; and Otto; mother-in-law, Janice Simpson of McLean, Illinois; three brothers, Keith (Sharon) Owen of Stanford, Illinois; Mick (Kathy) Owen of Stanford, Illinois; and Scott (Mary Lou) Owen of Stanford, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a nephew and father-in-law, Larry Simpson.

Tracy was an underwriter service assistant at State Farm in Bloomington, Illinois. She served 8 years in the Army Reserves in Peoria, Illinois. She was known for her gracious hospitality and homemade cooking.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Tracy was a loving wife; mother; grandmother; daughter-in-law; sister; aunt; friend and will be missed by all.
