Double the Treats, Double the Fun
Hopedale Hosts Two Free Halloween Events for Kids
Costumed kids and candy lovers, mark your calendars! The Hopedale Medical Complex is rolling out the orange carpet for two free Halloween-themed events on Thursday, October 30, 2025—giving families a chance to celebrate early and still enjoy Delavan’s festivities on Halloween night.
🎪 Spooktacular: Creepy Carnival
From 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., the Hopedale Wellness Center will host its annual Spooktacular: Creepy Carnival, featuring carnival games, craft stations, a costume contest, festive food, and of course, mountains of candy. Located at 222 NW Grove Street, this event promises a lively evening of spooky fun for children in costume accompanied by a guardian.
🚪 Spooky Doors & Candy Galore
Just down the street, the Hopedale Commons invites families to Spooky Doors & Candy Galore from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Trick-or-treaters can explore the building and collect treats from creatively decorated Halloween doors courtesy of staff and residents. Enter through the Commons West main doors at 211 SW Railroad Street, with parking available in Lot G-1.
🎃 Best of All: Halloween Night is Still Free!
Because both events take place on Thursday, families can enjoy a full night of Halloween fun in Hopedale and still be free to attend Delavan’s community celebrations on Friday, October 31. It’s a win-win for local ghosts and goblins!
For more information about Spooktacular: Creepy Carnival, call the Hopedale Wellness Center at (309) 449-4500 or visit their Facebook page. For details on Spooky Doors & Candy Galore, call (309) 449-6700 or check out the Hopedale Commons Facebook page.
👻 Costumes encouraged. Candy guaranteed. Community celebrated. Let the Halloween magic begin!
