Village Flowers & Gifts

Village Flowers & Gifts is a local flower shop in Minier owned by Susie Smith. They pride themselves on providing a 100% satisfaction guaranteed to create long term relationships with their customers. Village Flowers & Gifts has a great connection with the local community and the emphasis that they put on maintaining that connection has really paid off for them. They are a wonderful small business that a lot of locals depend on for flowers on special occasions, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day.

Village Flowers & Gifts is known by their customers for having fresh and vibrant flowers that make great gifts for any occasion. They have been able to consistently provide great flowers for customers throughout Minier’s community and other small-town communities around the area. Not only does Village Flowers & Gifts provide great looking flowers, but they also sell different items that correlate with the time of the year. For example, they sell very popular winter decor around Christmas time, they also sell boxes of chocolate and teddy bears around Valentine’s Day, and they even do bouquets for weddings.

In September of 2020, Village Flowers & Gifts owner, Susie Smith, had reached the 38-year mark of owning her flower shop. While owning her own business, she has been able to work with both of her daughters, Amy and Julie, which has been a big part of her success. It is obviously a very impressive accomplishment by Susie, Amy, and Julie to run such a successful local business for the amount of time that they have. This accomplishment is especially impressive after having to deal with the pandemic and all the tolls it took on small businesses all over the area. Susie credits her success to her great connection with the local community. Small businesses are a great thing to have in small communities, so it should be our responsibility to buy locally, especially if you ever need any flowers!
