Melvin and Donna Pleines celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

Pleines and Donna Imig were married April 14, 1956, at Holy Trinity Church in Bloomington.

Marilyn Imig Cremeens and Kenneth Pleines were their attendants.

Melvin was employed as public works director for the Village of Minier, retiring in 1991. Donna retired from State Farm in 1997.
