Missing Rural Danvers Man Found in Pond

On Friday, March 18, 2022, the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office was contacted to respond to a rural Danvers property located in rural Tazewell County for an individual found deceased in a pond.  The individual was located after a water search by the Fon du Lac Park District Police Department’s Marine Law Enforcement Unit.

Pronounced deceased at 12:45 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 was 69-year old rural Danvers resident Patrick Lindsey by Coroner Charles R. Hanley.  

Mr. Lindsey was reported missing Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 6:46 p.m.  An area ground search was conducted by the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office and the Tazewell County EMA Search and Rescue Team until 3 a.m. Friday morning.  The search was resumed mid Friday morning with the assistance of the Illinois State Police Air Ops.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.  No foul play is suspected.
