The Minier Corn Daze is a festival held in Minier by the Olympia Kiwanis Club. This year, the Corn Daze will be held on Saturday, July 31st and Sunday, August 1st. There will be many different activities that can be enjoyed by attendees. On Saturday, there will be a Softball Tourney and a Fire Department Water Fight. Sunday will have, “all the sweet corn you can eat”, a Cruise-in, tractor pulls, a community church service at 10 AM, a vendor fair, a pedal tractor race, a lawn mower tractor pull, multiple events for kids, a car show, live music, and lots of food. 

One thing that makes the Minier Corn Daze unique is that any group, organization, or company can buy a 10x10 vendor space for $25. This gives any group, organization, or business a great opportunity to make connections with possible customers in their community. There are fifty vendor spaces available this year at the Minier Corn Daze, so there will be plenty of opportunity for each and every group, organization, or business to interact with locals enjoying the Corn Daze. The Minier Corn Daze event coordinator will also try to limit the number of similar vendors for the event, making for a good variety of things for the customers to look at and a good way to guarantee that each vendor’s product will be unique. 

The Minier Corn Daze is both a festival that provides a fun and entertaining weekend towards the end of summer and a festival that provides a great opportunity for groups, organizations, and businesses to make new connections with people in their community. From the all-you-can-eat sweet corn to the tractor pulls, there is something that everyone can enjoy at the Minier Corn Daze. It’s this variety of enjoyable activities that makes the Minier Corn Daze such a popular festival amongst our communities.
