RAVING REVIEW: Back in Clone High High School's halls, CLONE HIGH: SEASON 2 makes a grand return, mixing the allure of its previous season with a sprinkling of modernity, and I’d say returning to the core values of the original series. The series reopens its doors to a school where cloned historical figures navigate the trials and tribulations of teen life. Adding characters like Frida Kahlo and Harriet Tubman to the already colorful roster of Joan, JFK, Abe, and Cleo adds new dimensions to this witty, satirical exploration of a teen drama.

As we return for this new season, the series crafts a bold storyline that ventures into new territories while maintaining its comedic backbone. CLONE HIGH: SEASON 2's commitment to mixing humor with a sense of unpredictability ensures viewers remain engaged and guessing. The satire and comedy seem to hit harder and land better than the first return to the school; I enjoyed last season, so that’s just to say that it was even better than I expected.

The development of character relationships is a highlight of the second season back. They focus on the character's evolutions instead of just their self-contained stories. We can explore budding and established connections, sprinkling more profound layered humor and more insight into who these characters are becoming. The multi-layered relationship between Cleo and Frida enriches the story by adding a reality to it all. These relationships unfold against modern-day themes, striking a perfect chord between a trip down memory lane and reflecting the current world we are all a part of.

The series shines as a unique and captivating offering with a distinct premise given life by a talented voice cast, including Will Forte, Nicole Sullivan, Ayo Edebiri, and others, who infuse their characters with a depth beyond just the comedy.

CLONE HIGH: SEASON 2 signifies a triumphant return, capturing the essence of its predecessor while adeptly adapting to contemporary times and melding a sense of nostalgia with fresh, modern elements, resulting in a dynamic and engaging viewing experience. The intricate exploration of character relationships and its signature satirical humor solidifies CLONE HIGH as a standout in the animated series landscape. The season finale leaves audiences eagerly anticipating future adventures, keen to see the next steps in this imaginative and beloved series' journey.
