There's Grace, the epitome of a suburban soccer mom, who embarks on an unexpected odyssey into the realm of dominatrixes; Robin, a Texan with a dual life under the rule of a dominatrix, and the formidable Mistress Evilyne, a professional dominatrix battling societal stigma. Anchoring the narrative is the inspirational January Seraph, whose influence catalyzes women to seize their latent strengths.

In TOUCH KINK, Carey pulls back the curtain on the private and intriguing world of kink and BDSM, portraying those who engage in such practices. Grace, Mistress Evilyn, and Robin are shown as everyday individuals who courageously embrace their hidden desires, sharing their hearts (and more) privately. Although there is no doubt that a story like this will have adult content, so although it is very welcoming, it is rated mature for a reason.

This educational film highlights vital aspects of kink play, like safety and informed consent to those unfamiliar with the scene. I was a big fan of how they handled these topics, exploring the technical names and diving deeper into the definitions so that people new to this world would understand.

Through TOUCH KINK, Carey challenges preconceived notions and stereotypes, illuminating the colorful and passionate lives of those engaged in kink activities. He offers viewers a backstage pass into these individuals' thrilling experiences across diverse events and settings.

A serendipitous encounter with January Seraph sowed the seeds for TOUCH KINK. Her camaraderie and influence broadened Carey's understanding of the kink world, and the project was kickstarted with financial support from the dating app, Whiplr. This support propelled the director on a whirlwind expedition from California to Montreal to capture this unique content.

Despite several setbacks, including the loss of January and a personal health challenge, Carey remained undeterred. His determination saw the project through, even amidst the global COVID pandemic. TOUCH KINK transcends being a mere tribute to January and the supportive kink community. It's a celebration of resilience, a testament to the allure of human diversity, and a tribute to the unstoppable human spirit.
