RAVING REVIEW: Examine the murky waters of the supernatural; BRING HER TO ME emerges as a unique title in Full Moon’s horror genre. Director Brooks Davis weaves an erotically charged narrative with a chilling, bizarre twist. The story tracks the journey of Mara, portrayed by Bec Doyle, as she's entangled in a web of demonic nightmares. Supporting characters Raziel (Kalond Irlanda) and Abigail (Roslyn Gentle) add depth to this murky tale, blurring the lines between dreams and reality, culminating in a climax that is as unexpected as gratifying.

Davis, known for their work on THE GINGERWEED MAN, steps into the horror limelight with BRING HER TO ME. Teaming up with the icon Charles Band and Kent Roudebush, Davis concocts a narrative cocktail mixing fear, seduction, and the unknown. This team ensures a plot that's gripping from the opening frame to the closing credits, marking a significant turning point for Full Moon, reminiscent of their earlier triumphs yet distinctly modern. One of the funniest reviews I’ve read was from someone who had never seen a Full Moon film.

The visual composition of BRING HER TO ME is reminiscent of classic cinematic storytelling. Its crisp cinematography plunges the viewer into the heart of the narrative. The strategic decision to keep the film under an hour bucks the trend of modern Hollywood's tendency for longer runtimes, focusing instead on a lean yet potent story. This is one of Full Moon’s best decisions in filmmaking; even if you get into a film that you’re not a fan of, it’s only an hour!

In the spotlight, Doyle delivers a stellar performance as Mara, embodying the character's depth and complexity. Her portrayal of a woman haunted by dark visions is compelling and nuanced. With Emerson Niemchick's ominous demon, the supporting cast enhances the narrative, each character weaving their unique thread into this dark tale. I wouldn’t say this is groundbreaking, but it was fun from start to finish.

Jonathan Walter's musical score is a pivotal element, adding layers of eeriness to the atmosphere. His composition fluidly threads through the storyline, punctuating key moments and amplifying the film's emotional impact. Sound is so important, especially in modern filmmaking; combining that with Howard Wexler's cinematography contributes, employing lighting and angles to craft a haunting, dreamlike visual landscape.

BRING HER TO ME is a testament to Full Moon's storied history of making films focusing on entertainment. It balances classic horror motifs with fresh, contemporary elements and throws in the more adult 90s erotica vibe to create an intriguing experience. With solid performances, focused direction, and a unique storyline, this film offers a compelling experience for both long-time Full Moon followers and those new to the genre. Davis and his team have added a notable chapter to Full Moon's evolving narrative through this production. This film is a stark reminder that the most haunting stories dance along the fine line separating our profound fears from reality.
