She navigates the spectrum of resilience an elite athlete requires and the raw vulnerability needed to embrace a new career that not everyone understands. The directorial approach of Císařovská is marked by its understated elegance. She eschews sensationalism, exploring personal and bodily autonomy against public scrutiny.
